On Sunday, March 9, 2025, Valley International School held its Annual Sports Day at UM Arena, Universiti Malaya, bringing together students from Early Years to Secondary for a full day of track, field, and team competition.
The morning opened with the traditional march-past by the four school houses, followed by the Principal’s address on discipline, resilience, and healthy competition. Students then took to the track for sprints, relays, and an obstacle race, while field events included the mixed relay and age-grouped sprints from 100m to 400m.
Younger students had their own line-up of games, including three-legged races, sack races, and sponge relays, keeping the energy high across every year group. Parents and teachers lined the stands throughout, cheering on their houses as the points tally built toward the final standings.
The day wrapped up with a prize-giving ceremony celebrating top individual performances and the winning house, capping off a Sports Day that reflected Valley International School’s commitment to teamwork, sportsmanship, and holistic development.
