Valley International School’s Annual Sports Day 2026 took place on Friday, February 13, at Stadium MPAJ (Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya), Kuala Lumpur, with students arriving from 6:30 a.m. in full house colours for a 7:00 a.m. start.
This year’s Sports Day was the finale of a full Sports Week, which had already seen house teams compete in badminton, basketball, and futsal heats through late January and early February. The main event opened with the National Anthem and a Grand Opening Dance performed by students, followed by house cheerleading routines that set the tone for the morning.
Track events ran across year groups, from Year 2 sprints to Year 10 relays, alongside a hard-fought Tug of War and hydration breaks between heats. Scores were tallied live and updated for everyone to follow as the houses battled for the top spot.
The event closed around 12:30 p.m. with the prize-giving ceremony, recognising the Best Sportsman and Sportswoman and crowning the overall House Champion, before classes gathered for group photographs to mark the day.
